Wendy O’Donovan Phillips, president of Big Buzz Brands in Denver, CO, was awarded a $1,000 prize after presenting her business pitch in a national competition, and recently earned a spot in the elite business growth program that will help her business reach revenues of $1million.

Monday, April 4, 2011, Wendy O’Donovan Phillips was named one of its pitch winners in its Make Mine a Million $ Business event. On May 6, 2011, Big Buzz Brands was notified that the company had been officially accepted to the prestigious Make Mine a Million $ Business development program.
The over 300 woman business owners that competed alongside Phillips had to have been in business for two or more years and have annual revenues of over $85,000. Winners of the pitch competition, which required entrants to present a two-minute elevator pitch, not only received a $1,000 American Express gift card, but also a session of introductory coaching.
Phillips has provided clients with marketing consultation since 2000, joined a Denver brand agency in 2004 and was named Junior Partner in 2006.
