Taking Service to a Whole New Level
The Big Buzz team is a tight-knit group of dental marketing experts who have the science of delivering marketing down to a tee. Big Buzz’s Marketing Account Lead will schedule an initial phone call with dentists interested in working with Big Buzz to be sure they are a good match, and will then guide each dentist through a discovery phase until an agreement is made. Once a dentist becomes a client, the Account Management Lead will take them through the full Big Buzz process, beginning with a dedicated project kickoff call to align all expectations, carrying them through all of the major milestones of project delivery. Throughout that process, the Project Management Lead will track measurable goals and coordinate all of the resources needed to deliver only the marketing solutions that meet those goals. The Big Buzz development team – comprised of online marketing strategists, website and graphic designers, and content developers – will create those solutions within the budget and timeframe set from the start. In this way, the experts at Big Buzz deliver the marketing solutions that propel dentists forward.
Wendy O’Donovan Phillips

Wendy founded her marketing agency, Big Buzz, to provide private dentistry practices nationwide with marketing backed by real research. Her book, KABOOM!: The Method Used By Top Dentists for Explosive Marketing Results helps dentists build thriving practices with marketing backed by real methodology.
Her work has been published in The Hollywood Reporter, The Washington Times, Denver Business Journal, AGDImpact, Journal of the Colorado Dental Association, TroDent, Hawaii Dental Association Journal, American Association of Dental Office Managers Observer, and Metro Denver Dental Society Articulator, among other publications. She has been recognized by The American Marketing Association and The Colorado Association of Black Journalists for excellence in writing. She is an active member of the National Speakers Association Colorado and has been inducted into the California Dental Association’s Speakers Bureau and the Seattle Study Club Speakers Bureau. In 2016, she acted as an expert marketing consultant to the American Dental Association.
One word to describe me, and why: Opportunity. There are opportunities everywhere to create new businesses, grow businesses, create new jobs. Even setbacks are opportunities when we learn from them.

In my spare time, I like to: Take long walks. Stretch. Spend gads of time with my sweet husband and darling daughter. Write. Read. Meditate. Sleep.

Art and Media Lead
One word to describe me, and why: Artist. From drawing and making sound effects as a small child to painting large graffiti murals as a teenager, I have always expressed myself artistically. I try to have an artist approach to everything I do both personally and professionally.
Favorite cocktail: Any good bourbon on the rocks.
If I was a brand, I would be: Converse. Fun, edgy, timeless, creative and unique.
In my spare time, I like to: Spending time with my two daughters Lily and Ava. Working out, drawing, painting, being outdoors, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Project Management Lead
One word to describe me, and why: Optimism. I believe in unicorns and rainbows and sparkles and Santa. That the glass is half-full. That you can turn a frown upside down. That when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.
Favorite cocktail: Red wine, served in a big fancy glass.
If I was a brand, I would be: Disney. Bright, happy, cheerful, with a dash of whimsy.
In my spare time, I like to: Eat, drink and be merry.
One word to describe me, and why: Bold. I believe in making a statement everywhere I go and in everything I do. I believe in taking risks and being confident and courageous in my decisions. I believe in neon colors and living a life full of richness.

If I was a brand, I would be: Nike. Driven by accomplishment, innovation, endurance and competition, built on a foundation of practicality.
In my spare time, I like to: Be active: ski, golf, exercise; spend time with my friends and family; travel; experiment in the kitchen and consume as many sweets as possible.

One word to describe me, and why: Analytical. Whether I’m checking out new websites or shopping for vegetables, I try to be as meticulous as possible.
Favorite cocktail: Bloody Mary. Extra spicy and loaded with bacon.
If I was a brand, I would be: Apple. Seamless. Design-oriented. Innovative.
In my spare time, I like to: Travel to far-away places. Camping. Playing soccer.
One word to describe me, and why: Ready. I am prepared for whatever comes my way. I am excited and willing. I wake up every morning eager for what is to come and I believe that every opportunity is a learning opportunity.
